Marie-Louise Christophe: A Haitian Queen in Great Britain Documentary
Produced in collaboration with the Haitian Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain, this documentary charts the exile journey of Marie-Louise Christophe - first and last Queen of Haiti - during the few years that she lived in England from 1821-1824. In following her footsteps, and visiting the spaces that she once inhabited, the documentary hopes to bring those inside and outside of the United Kingdom closer to an important woman that history has consigned to the margins.
